The course delivers a Production Safety Passport (ScreenSkills Level 1) Certificate valid for 5 years and aims to ensure that no crew, production or cast member is ever injured or killed again because a risk on a Film or Television set is not effectively recognised, assessed, communicated or managed.

• Film and TV Online Safety Passport Course

The course is approved by the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) under their Passport scheme which is a nationally recognised scheme and follows The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) syllabus guidelines as well as ScreenSkills National Occupational Standards in Health & Safety PSA2 and PSA3, and the Bectu/UK Theatre Code of Conduct for Get-in/ Get-outs. It is a level 2 qualification that is valid for 3 years and comes with a workbook pdf and IOSH certificate.

• Creative Industries Safety Passport

The ScreenSkills Training Passport is the first pan-industry initiative to provide a digital record of standardised and industry-approved free training that production staff and freelance crew can take from one production to the next.
The modules most commonly required by employers using the Passport are Tackling bullying and harassment at work, Safeguarding for all, Introduction to data protection and cybersecurity, Introduction to financial compliance, Addressing unconscious bias and Introduction to mental health awareness.

IPA has been at the forefront of the intimacy coordinator movement since the very beginning. We were one of the first organizations to achieve SAG-AFTRA accreditation for our intimacy coordinator certification training program for film and TV, and our members have been at the forefront of the intimacy coordination unionization effort with SAG-AFTRA from the very start. As international leaders in the film industry, our network of certified intimacy professionals consists of individuals from more than 20 countries around the world, including many places in South America and Asia.

Safe Sets was founded in South Africa in 2020, provide Intimacy Coordinators for Stage and Screen and have run four successful Intimacy Coordinator training courses that have been funded by the NFVF (South Africa), Netflix (EMEA, Grow Creative & Poland) and partially funded by Anica Academy (Italy - funded by Medusa, Sky, Netflix, Paramount, Rai, Vision, Gaumont, Eos & LABS). All trainees who completed the core training continue to be mentored/supported via the Safe Sets Trainers and Community, until fully certified, and often beyond!
A Young Performer Support Specialist (YPS) is an on-set professional focusing specifically on diffusing traumatic, difficult, sensitive and possibly harmful content for minor actors through imaginative play, acting coaching and specific protocols for working with minors.
